Just a short week and a half after I returned home from being a full-time missionary, I was able to go back and visit my mission with my parents! It was absolutely lovely and we had the best time. Here are some snippets of the trip:
London-
-meeting up with the Turvey's
-bike ride around the bustling streets of London
-seeing Buckingham palace
-red double deckers everywhere
Nottingham/Eastwood-
-Wollaton Hall (where they filmed batman)
-wetherspoon's
-getting a parking ticket :/
-cruising around Eastwood to reminisce
-staying with the King's and eating lots of treats and having such a fun time
-visiting the Stinson's
Hull/York-
-running into the sisters outside my old flat
-lunch with the O'Neill's
-york minster and tower
-driving around in england again
-betty's tea room
Darlington-
-staying at the cute Crawford's
-being reunited with my girl sister swallow
-temple with Chris!!!!! such a miracle and he had the best most spiritual experience ever! one of the most tender days of my life. amazing!
-seeing all the people i love so much in the ward! Bishop even asked me to speak lol. it was Ben Hancock's homecoming and we spent like 6 hours at the Hancock's haha so fun.
-seeing lil joe!
Leeds/Horbury-
-shopping in leeds!
-seeing Sister Kim!!!! so so so so good
-cath kidston and tk maxx
-popping by the mission office and seeing the Green's
-open house in Ossett at the Boome's. seeing so many friends from the ward!!! :)
-lunch with Jose and meeting up with Katharine and her girls in wakefield
-harewood house (downton abbey) with alison boome
-fish n chips!
London again-
-dinner at super posh restaurant with dad's cousin Leighton
-meeting up with Nathan and seeing the Hyde Park Chapel and German pretzel place
-shopping
safe to say it was an amazing trip. So fun to bring my parents to the land I love to meet the people who are dearest to me! It made it so much easier to come home to be able to see everyone again so soon :)
