Week 33
England
-I'm training!!! My new companion is Sister Kim, from south Korea! She is sooooo cute! I love her. She is pretty much already trained, she's training me lol! She has no fear and is so legendary. The very first day we were going around and she asks me, "so can we knock some doors now?" Haha wow! She's so good.
-the weather here is wack. One day it's so sunny and warm then the next pouring rain and bitter cold. And it's been so windy as well, got attacked by some leaves that blew into our faces rip. But I love it :)
Funny
-idk if this is funny or just annoying for me lol, but we did so much traveling this week. Down to Nottingham Monday night, sleep over in notts, 3 hour train ride up to Leeds Tuesday morning and stayed there all day to pick up sister Kim, slept over in Leeds because we wouldn't get home in time, train back down to Nottingham and bus to Eastwood Wednesday morning, get home and have 15 min to change/freshen up/eat something then go on a bus for an hour and a half to a place south of Nottingham called long Eaton for district council, and then bus back to Eastwood and it took 2 1/2 hours to get home because of traffic. Rip dude
-here's another hilarious thing, got sick for the first time my whole mission! Haha not funny actually. I have a cold and lost my voice on sister kims first day lol i sounded like a raspy old man! I feel so bad for sister kim, this week was so wackadoodle with all the traveling and me being sick. But she is such a trooper, and so good so it's okay. On Friday (the worst day for me), we were planning on going out and I was just gonna be tough and endure, but the housing senior couple came by to check our boiler and the wife looked at me and said, no way you can't go out today. Haha probs a good thing cause I was dyin tbh with a fever. But no worries, now I am better and back at it again :)
-there is a ward member named Ana from Venezuela and she is so sassy and funny I love her. I told her I knew a song from 4th grade Spanish and I sang it to her and turns out it's a Venezuelan song so boom now she loves me even more. She cracks me up and she's an angel, bringing us dinner when I was so poorly. Bless
-we were at the bishops house for dinner yesterday, and they had been sick this past week too. Sister King (the bishops wife) has one of those fake tooth retainer things that she can pop out. We were talking about how it stinks to be sick and then she said, "well, at least you didn't vomit up your tooth and flush it down the toilet" and smiled a giant grin and her front tooth was just gone!!!! Hahahaha it was so funny
Spiritual
-everyone always talks about how magical it is when a new missionary comes in and so many miracles happen, and it's true! Sister Kim has that greenie fire. She is so hardworking and presh. We have gotten in contact with so many people who are solid potentials and this upcoming week we have loads of lessons set up already and it just feels so Good! We were able to really feel the joy of missionary work and I am so excited for this week because we have a zone fireside, zone conference, and Exchanges! Booyah baby. I'm just so filled with faith and hope right now, I love being a missionary!!!!!
