Hey my peeps! What's happenin
England:
-everyone go online and check out the 21 day Book of mormon challenge! Each day there's a different question of the soul and excerpt from the book of mormon and general conf talk to go along with it too, its so good! Seriously everyone go do it. I challenge ya!
-i was looking on my family tree last night and realised I have an ancestor who was born in derby, which is 9 miles away from Eastwood! Incredible
Funny:
- so flashback to my first week here, we were rushing somewhere and sister ferrin was talking on the phone and we went by this kid on a bike so I handed him a card. Fast forward to a few days ago, everyone at church is saying "sister bacon (they think that's my name lol) you gave Josh a pass along card" found out he is a member haha my b I'll never live it down
-met a guy who writes his own scripture, "the book of Brandon"alright dude
-this guy Marcus (one who used to live in a tent) we saw this week, he wanted to meet so we start teaching the plan of salvation, and in the middle of me saying something to him he interrupts me and says "you know we're going to leave this earth right" and I'm like oh yeah, thinking spirit world right. And then he says so seriously, "Yeah we'll leave on ships." Haha I tried so hard not to laugh I'm baffled bless Marcus
-when investigators tattle tell on each other to us for seeing each other in the street on drugs and drunk rip
Spiritual:
-in ward council this week, talking about gaining our own revelation. How Amazing is that?! The heavens are literally open to us, we just have to ask
-everyone, read "it's not status, but service that counts" in the July 1975 ensign by Neal a Maxwell. So good!
-"kindness is a passport that opens doors"
- So many little miracles it's hard to put them all into words. Good things are happening here!
Joys:
- meeting kristian the Christian lol that's what I asked him when we met. But he wants to come to church so swag
- our hiking buds chai and Malcolm invited us over for a vegan Asian dinner, it was so yum! They are the cutest lil friends! We are trying to teach them more, we taught the plan of salvation and the spirit was so strong!
-having dinner with the Bishops fam, the Kings! They are the cutest lil fam remind me of mine back home I love them!
- found out I'm 5th cousins with my girl sister ferrin!!! And 12th cousins with the Bishops wife lol haha nice
