Week 21

Hi i love england!

England-

-rip sister cook! I'm so glad she made it home safe and is back with her fam in bear lake! Love her so much and am so grateful for her example to me of missionary work!

-my new comp sister gamil is from the Philippines, and I love her!!!!! She was in my mtc group so we are already bffs. We both have the same size feet and hands, so you know it's a true good match. :)

-we ventured way out to the edge of our area, to a tiny village called west Breton. There's a sculpture park there and so we brought a picnic and ate our lunch there. We were heading out of the park after lunch, and thought hey we should take a pic by the statues. As we got closer, we realised they were like really weird nakey statues.. haha we ran outta there so fast

Funny-

-went knocking, and this lady answered so abruptly and seemed very out of breath and confused, I thought she said "where am i?" With a very concerned and worried look on her face. Haha I was also confused, and said, "pardon?" Then she comes out the door and points at this wooden carving in the window "no cold callers, no men of religion, etc etc" but instead of slamming the door, she seemed really scared of us and confused haha. I said, oh sorry didn't see that! Have a good day. I should have said, "oh but were women of religion" haha but I didn't. Boom

-We have gone sugar free this week! For our friend Jacob, to help him stop smoking. It has been really good actually, not too bad. It was so funny, we were at our friend Susan's for tea, and she insisted on giving us rhubarb pie and telling us about the rhubarb triangle in Yorkshire, oh it was so funny I was dyin. Please no treats don't tempt us!!!! Lolol.

- so yesterday was a hard day for our friend Katherine, so sis gamil and I were street contacting and asked people to write her lil notes to post on her door, I asked a lady from Romania and she wrote "happy birthday" hahahaha

Spiritual-

-but for real, doing those special notes for Katherine was so good. Yesterday was a day she had been dreading for a long time, and we wanted to help her feel so loved. The things people wrote to her were so simple and so kind, they were more than willing to help us out. We stuck them on her door, and a few hours later she called us, crying! She was soooooo happy and felt so loved, she couldn't believe someone would do something so nice for her. She said she was going to laminate the papers and keep them and every year on that day, look at them and remember that that day was the best day of her life! Then she said her first prayer for us over the phone. We all cried :') and her daughter mia is wanting to be baptised as well the same day as her mum. So special, it's moments like this that make my heart soooo happy <3

-since sister gamil and I both are the same age in the mission (not too experienced), sometimes we don't really know what we're doing Haha. But we just pray and then little miracles happen, it's amazing! We will work very hard this transfer!

Joys-

- sister gamil! When we went to ward cord at brother boomes, he said "oh no, we have two giggles now" hahaha. She says the preshest things, love her

-Susan's granddaughter Claudia bringing me a rock she found, so cute <3
