Week 6
Wow this week was incredible!!! We saw SO many miracles!!! Ahhh it was amazing. Here we go
England/joys:
-this week was nice after the little snow episode we had last Monday. It was pretty springish and sunny for most of this week. Bless
-there are little flowers everywhere! So happy. Lil daffodils love em
-last p day it was soooooo rainy and sis cook and I were walking around in the pouring rain, so soaked. And then the bishops wife drove by and said, you want McDonald's? I mean how can you say no to chicken nuggets. We got home and she dropped off some micky d's and then another member called and brought us a pizza. Trying to make us chubby lol! But I love this ward they are amazing <3
-we did exchanges with the sister training leaders in huddersfield this week, they are so cute! Haha I went out with sister Watson from bountiful Utah. She is like a princess! Seriously when you hear her voice how could you not think she is just an angel haha. Love her, we slept over in huddersfield and it was so fun lil slumber party and we saw a ton of cool miracles that day
-Sister cook and I get asked everyday, are you twins? Or Sisters? Haha we didn't know looked that much alike but okay! I love being her lil twin. We have so much fun together :)
-sometimes when I think, what am i even doing, then I imagine all my friends around the world doing the same thing I am, and I think wow incredible. Just spreading the gospel <3
Funny:
-the other day we were in Wakefield which is part of our area now. Just chatting with a polish guy and he starts talking about the prison and points it out to us and it was right there lol. So close to us just right there. So wild Idk it was kinda funny
-we had our flat inspected this week by the senior couple and they brought a bag of girl clothes that the elders found in their apartment. Haha it was all brand new stuff with tags on it still and pretty cute ish. I wore one to church yesterday lol new wardrobe
-there was one day this week sister cook and I had a funny day of weird encounters with pets. We visited a lady in our ward with two giant huskies, the house smelled like a pet shop and had dog hair everywhere. Hoarders galore. Bless her. Then we went to tea at another members and sister cook and I used the rubbish bin beside the toilet and later found out it was not a rubbish bin but where they kept the cat food! Lol awk
-last night we visited a cute little elderly couple in our ward, and the wife waas telling us about her chair exercises she has to do for physical therapy, and she showed us and it was the cutest thing ever. Of course we did it too with her, so funny
- last night we were doing companion study and an unknown number called and it was a guy who straight up said he wants to convert. Haha and then he said a bunch of other funny stuff Idk if he's just taking the Mick out of us or was drunk or something or serious but were meeting with him this week so hopefully he is for real!
Spiritual:
-so many miracles!!!! This week we really saw some fruits of our hard work in horbury. Ahhhhh yeah! Each one was a cool little miracle. I'll tell you about a few of them :)
-a few days ago we were in osset (a village in our area, just north of Horbury) and were knocking a street we were going to go to a few days ago but didn't make it til then. The first door we knocked, no one answered so we turned around and started walking away, but then there was a woman who was right there walking her dog. We started talking (we were in front of her house) and she let us in and we taught the plan of salvation! It was so special. My first lesson i offically taught with sister cook! Oh man it was so spiritual. We all cried lol. Her name is Emma and she holds herself together pretty well but you can tell she is broken inside. We were going to go back a few days ago but she has a really bad disease she just got diagnosed with and is super sick :( but pray for her. Even though we only talked for that short time I seriously already have so much love for her, she is someone I would come back to england and visit!! Let's hope we can visit her again this week
- we were going to a tea appointment and had some extra time so we stopped by a former investigators house. Lol we knocked, no one answered and then few min later a woman in her lil bathrobe answered.. We are like hi, are you Debbie? And she was like, how do you know my name?! Hahaa but then she was like come in come in, but you'll never convert me! Hehehe. We had a long discussion with her (debs) and her partner Chris. She is church of England, and he is Catholic. They really like us (better than the elders who visited them before yikes haaha) and we nonchalantly taught them plan of salvation too. And then boom they invited us to tea this week! Haha so we'll see how that goes haha, they kept asking abour trump and dinosaurs and we tried to answer best we could lol
-a bunch more but this is getting too long, just trust me there's a lot of good stuff going on here! Check out Jacob 4:7
